The Church building has been closed since March and for many that was the last time we have been together as a group. The Hallelujah Parking Lot Praise Party changed that. Members got together while practicing physical distancing precautions to eat, chat, and just have some fun for just a little while. The pandemic will not break the ties...although distancing is encouraged as a safety the hearts are still together and God is still in the midst.
Enjoy some of these captured moments.
In September, the FBCFV Women's Fellowship did a car parade to brighten the day for some area seniors.
We were glad to see their waves and smiles.
First Baptist Church of Fuquay-Varina and First United Methodist Church of Fuquay-Varina are embarking on a mission to share worship and establish connection beyond our normal walls. During this time of uncertainty and unrest, we are taking action to do our part to be and build a community. We hope you join us as we share worship online through Zoom and Live broadcasts and will be as excited to be a part of this venture as we are to present it.
June 21, 2020 was the official kickoff to First Baptist Church's partnership with First United Methodist Church to provide a shared worship experience between the two congregations. The churches respective pastors provided welcome messages for the other congregation to kick off the start of what we hope will be a successful partnership to spread the gospel throughout Fuquay-Varina and beyond.
There are ongoing opportunities to participate in the shared worship between FBCFV and First Church:
